【外国人】护照有效期少于6个月，有什么风险？

受疫情影响，部分外籍人士长期停留在中国，但如果护照有效期少于6个月，会存在哪些风险？

中国公民出入境时，边检机关对护照的有效期时长没有特别要求，只要在有效期内就可以正常出入境。但是护照有效期少于6个月仍存在如下风险：

1.申请签证时，绝大多数国家要求护照至少有6个月的有效期。这是一个国际通行惯例，即Six month rule。（外国人在中国办理工作签证也是要求护照至少有6个月的有效期哦）

2.入境检查时，有一些国家规定即使已经取得签证，但护照有效期少于6个月，也会被拒绝入境。

3.办理登机手续时，部分航空公司根据目的地国家的相关规定，会拒绝护照有效期少于6个月的乘客登机。

如何规避风险？

1.提前了解想要前往国家的签证及入境政策。小伙伴们可以通过各国使领馆官方网站、咨询电话等途径了解各国相关政策。

2.及时更换护照，保证护照有效期6个月以上。这是小伙伴们解决问题最直接的办法。目前，出入境证件不但可以全国通办，还可以通过“移民局”小程序，国家移民管理局政务服务平台，“移民局”官方APP预约办理，方便又快捷。
